1. Ghost - Umbra

Right along with the gothic, esoteric theme of Clocktowers, naturally there is a Ghost influence. The catchy riffs, visualizations, and the music have something for everyone. Umbra is a choice track. In our humble opinion, an all timer effort by Ghost, This song has creepy, catchy, and a 70s style jam duel. What more could we want?

2. Free - Ride On A Pony

Taking it back to the 70s here with a great track by Free. Clocktowers mission is to keep feet tapping and people singing along, and no better way to do it than with some classic rock driven by catchy riffs and emotion filled vocals. A touch of Free's influence can be hear on the Clocktowers track, Bend The Snake. Paul Rodgers, one of the greatest vocalists of all time in his prime here! This track grooves!

3. Lamb Of God - Hourglass

Lamb Of God have been a staple of Tarek and Dakotas influences of all time. The lyrical content, crushing, memorable riffs, the unique timing, all on full display in this track.

4. AC/DC - Through The Mists Of Time

Without question, the number 1 influence of Clocktowers is AC/DC. While you may not hear it so much in Clocktowers sound, the business model of AC/DC is in full effect. Keep it catchy, groovy, and easy to follow. Simple. We want people to feel our music and remember us. Good luck finding someone on earth who hasn't heard AC/DC. People feel their music, not just hear it. That's where the magic lies. This is a cut from their last record, Powerup. The most unique AC/DC song ever released and master level songwriting.

5. The Faceless - Planetary Duality 1

Dakota's guitar playing is rooted from technical death metal, with The Faceless being one of his all time favorites. This track certainly highlights their strong points, with precision structuring and some of the most calculated drumming you'll ever hear. A little for everyone in this track..

6. KISS - Escape From The Island

Love them or hate them, the fact is, KISS were the biggest, greatest band of all time for a good period of time. they literally were. Too often their musicianship gets overshadowed by the gimmick. KISS' method of keep it simple, stupid is a staple of the Clocktowers approach and vibe. This track highlights Ace Frehley's incredibly awesome guitar solos as well as the thunderous debut of Eric Carr on drums. This is a deep in the weeds classic that doesn't get its just due.

7. Mastodon - Colony Of Birchmen

A big favorite of both Dakota And Tarek, Mastodon have claimed their rightful spot in history by laying down some of the most mesmerizing, memorable guitar riffs in history, as are featured in this track. Th elyrics weave a captivating story that makes this track an all timer.

8. Metallica - Hero For The Day

A classic that doesn't get enough playtime. The perfect mixture of lighter riffs building to a rocking anthem. The vocals are catchy and beg you to sing along. Prime guitar work, great groove, it's all here.

9. Gojira - Flying Whales

Gojira's influence is very strong in the Clocktowers world. Gojira are an incredibly talented band in every aspect. The crushing drive of this track is undeniable. The music tells a story in itself, accentuating the lyrics beautifully. The ambience of this song is timeless.

10. Black Sabbath - Sabbra Cadabra

We saved the best for last. Black Sabbath are undoubtedly the biggest Clocktowers influence of them all. Sabbath are the best to ever do it. Sabbra Cadabra is an absolute masterpiece. Enough said.
