The outstanding symphonic folk metal band will arrive for the first time in Chile on October 25 with a unique presentation at Sala Metrónomo, reviewing the highlights of their four studio albums. The date, originally scheduled for the 18th of the same month, was rescheduled for logistical reasons linked to their eventual Latin American tour. Tickets already purchased are fully valid for the new date. The concert promises to be a milestone for international metal shows in the country, anticipating it as a possible sold out.
Formed in 2017 by flutist Diego Palacio and led by the powerful voice of Xana Lavey, both active members of Mägo de Oz, Celtian is positioned as one of the most interesting names in Spanish metal. Their proposal mixes heavy metal with European folk music, evoking influences from Epica, Eluveitie, Saurom and the Mägo de Oz themselves. In fact, his recent visit to Chile with the latter band, on May 20 and 21 at the Caupolicán Theater, reinforced the enthusiasm of the local public for Celtian's proposal.
Since their instrumental debut with "The Druid's Awaiting" (2018), the group has developed a sound of their own that combines Celtic melodies, mythological lyrics and symphonic arrangements. With the incorporation of Lavey, they released "En Tierra de Hadas" (2019), "Sendas de Leyenda" (2021) and "Secretos de Amor y Muerte" (2024), positioning themselves at festivals as Leyendas del Rock and being released even in Japan. His work has been praised for its lyrical richness and interpretive quality, attracting a growing fan base in Latin America.
The debut in Chile will be part of the "Secretos de Amor y Muerte Tour", which will culminate on May 9, 2026 at La Riviera (Madrid), with a live recorded show that will include special scenery, guest artists and an exclusive set. In Santiago, Celtian will perform with its current line-up: Xana Lavey (frontwoman), Diego Palacio (flute), Txus Borao (violin and mandolin), Sergio Culebras (guitar), Raúl Plaza (bass) and David Landeroin (drums).
There are still tickets on sale at $30,000 (general access) and $25,000 (wheelchair sector) available on Passline, and without surcharge directly through WhatsApp (+56 9 4677 3428), with the option of payment via transfer or card. Not to be missed.
