On July 4, 2025, at precisely 19:00 GMT+3, Athenian Black/Death metal alchemists WARHAMMER will release their newest track, “Surpassing,” alongside an evocative video crafted by acclaimed filmmaker Claudio Marino. Known for his stark, gripping visuals and previous collaborations with prominent metal acts such as Behemoth, Watain, and Katatonia, Marino's latest creation plunges viewers into WARHAMMER's darkest spiritual depths, merging sonic brutality with gothic intensity.

Formed in 2012 by vocalist Hercules Giotis, WARHAMMER initially emerged from Athens as a thrash entity, later transforming in 2019 into a relentless force within the Black/Death metal genre. After sharing stages with genre heavyweights including Behemoth and Watain, WARHAMMER now prepares listeners for the release of their fourth studio album, ALGOS, produced by Wojtek Wiesławski at Poland’s renowned Hertz Studios.
“Claudio projected our internal wailing onto celluloid—blood, bone, spirit—each frame is our suffering incarnate,” growls Hercules Giotis, the band’s seer-horse of delirium.
The audiovisual ritual “Surpassing” marks the first incantation from the upcoming album ALGOS, set for release in 2026. The video, described as a visceral exploration of dread and despair, promises no refuge—only profound resonance.
Fans can witness the premiere of “Surpassing” via YouTube and all major streaming platforms starting at 19:00 GMT+3 on July 4, 2025.
