Born in Rouen, TRAGOS embodies the collision between classical elegance and chaotic brutality. Founded in 2022 and solidified in its current lineup in February 2023, the band consists of Cédric (guitars, composer), Kevin (vocals, lyricist), François (bass), and Laurent (drums).
The band’s new album “Bellicum” faithful to its old-school death metal roots through its originality, blending primal rage with songwriting inspired by classical and baroque composers such as Matteo Carcassi, Fernando Sor, Scarlatti, and Bach.
Through distortion and melodic progression, each riff evokes a sophisticated musical approach where the art of counterpoint collides with the savagery of blast beats.
