MIND SWELL to release "Hands Of Fire" on September 1st!

Ontario-based four-piece MIND SWELL is set to release their new EP, Hands of Fire, later on September 1, 2023. In June, the band released the first single from the project: a bleak look at the state of the world, titled “Humanity: A Plague”. To accompany the song, they dropped a trippy AI-generated visualizer, only adding to the darkness that already permeated the heavy track. With visions of human bones in dilapidated, post-apocalyptic environments, MIND SWELL sets the stage for a grim look at the future.

Hands of Fire follows the release of the band’s first EP, which dropped in December of 2020. The ambitious first project showcased a signature sound that was already fully realized, an uncommon feat for a band that has been together less than a year. On their new project, MIND SWELL digs even deeper into the dismal state of the world. However, as harsh as the band’s worldview may sound, they only want to show people that they hold the power for meaningful change.

Equal parts bleak and hopeful, MIND SWELL’s latest project turns a mirror to mankind, forcing the listener to face the unpleasant reality we all live in. Hands of Fire will be released on September 1, 2023.
