One of the Latin American revelations of the underground circuit, Anomie, has just released her new full-length album that you can see at the close of the note. It is the new album "Virtus Pereundi" (from Latin in "the virtue of death"), a strong dose of power and refined musical quality that highlights the currents of post rock, shoegaze, atmospheric black metal and modern progressive rock, in five tracks released on Chilean Rock Day (August 15).

Formed in 2020 in the metropolis of Santiago de Chile as a solo project of Vicente Miranda (guitar and main composer), the proposal is reformed as a group a year later in the great city of Concepción, proposing to be unpigeonholed from the stereotypes of extreme music, thanks to a variety of sonorities that make them unique compared to their current peers of the scene in the process of consolidation.

With successful presentations during the debut tour of "Mandragora Autumnalis" (EP, 2022), the current quintet paraded their works in spaces such as the Teatro Bandera Negra, Teatro de Lota, the Río Laja Metal Fest meeting, MiBar (Santiago), Valparaíso, Concepción, Cañete or Tomé, accompanying international bands such as thisquietarmy (Canada), Pentagram (Chile), Mar de Grises, Rats Of Gomorrah (Germany), Recrucide, Tumulto, Dekapited, Innana, Bagual, IIII, Futhan or Hellgarden, just to name a significant handful of the extreme circuit.

Made in a self-managed way, the work 2025 was recorded at Estudio La Arboleda (Bíobio Region) by Andrés Silva and Fidel Quinan, being the advance of the album released exclusively for Araucaria Negra Prods and the specialized portal Black Metal Artist (France). Such tracks ('Let Them Run Free', 'Fatamorgana') will have their exclusive promotional physical version on split vinyl of '7 to be released with the band Invictum (Argentina). The cover and the inserts made in oil were in charge of the national painter Rodrigo Pereira.

Highlighted by several music sites, the first single along with its lyric video was directed by Felipe Eluti (Visceral/Eros Thanatos). It should be remembered that the 2025 line-up is made up of Patricio Ríos (vocals and synthesizers), Fidel Quinan (bass), Gustavo Carrera (guitar), César Pulpeiro (drums) and the aforementioned Vicente Miranda in compositions and lead guitars.

Perfect album for fans of Alcest, Ulver, BORIS, Deafheaven, PORTAL, the introspective vibe of Deftones and, in general, those who are looking for new elements of the experimental sound. Available via streaming, especially on iTunes and Bandcamp. Soon in limited physical format.
