Auriferous Flame to release "The Insurrectionists and The Caretakers" on November 8th.

The third album from Auriferous Flame, the darker counterpart of Spectral Lore and Mystras' Ayloss, released by True Cult Records, is thematically centered around the concept of revolution. The first two tracks represent the dual aspects of the album's title, illustrating two distinct approaches to revolution. In metal and fantasy culture, we often see the image of the all-powerful hero who single-handedly defeats thousands and topples a corrupt order.

However, in reality, the challenges and immense difficulties of resisting injustice and creating change are far more complex and less gratifying. The use of the plural in the album's title is a deliberate choice in contrast, representing a desire for collective action.

Musically, the album builds on the foundation laid by Ardor for Black Majesty, merging two seemingly distant subgenres of black metal: energetic black thrash and dark atmospheric black metal. The result is a sound rich in epic and occult tones. The album’s longest and most defining track, the 15-minute opener "The Insurrectionists," presents an epic narrative that has been in the works since the previous album and represents Auriferous Flame’s most ambitious undertaking to date.

Recorded and produced by Ayloss in his Stellar Auditorium studio and mastered by Nidstag Studios, with cover art by Gilded Panoply for the third consecutive album, it demonstrates a clear progression in both sound and intensity, reflecting the project’s maturity and evolving vision.

Auriferous Flame stands firmly against fascism and its permutations, including NSBM, in the metal scene.
