Yatra sign with Prosthetic Records!

A couple of days after that announcement, we unveiled yet another new signing in the shape of Maryland trio, YATRA! They’re already working on material that will see the light of day in 2022 under the Prosthetic banner and we cannot wait! If you’ve not checked out their 2020 release All Is Lost, it’s time to rectify that. The killer album took a turn away from doom and dived headlong into old school death metal. They promise that the new tunes will follow in a similar vibe. Consider us stoked.

These three are also rippin’ up the road at the moment - with a couple of shows already under their belt this month, they’ll be playing shows right through til September 4. The last five dates of their tour will be alongside High Reeper. See below for the tour flyer.

To help you get to know YATRA a little better we asked them: …to describe the band in three words: “Shreds of insanity” …to tell us their biggest musical inspirations: “Grave, Iron Maiden, Bolt Thrower, Dead Boys, Darkthrone, Death, Motörhead, Middian, Incantation, Morbid Angel, Celtic Frost… it’s very difficult to stop…” …to recommend a new album to us: “Necrot - Mortal, Mortiferum - Abhorrent Genesis”
