Vintersea to release Woven Into Ashes on May 5th!

VINTERSEA create a unique fusion of majestic progressive metal with harsh blackened death and post-metal beauty which draws inspiration from the darkened skies of their Pacific Northwest home. Fronted by Malaysian-born singer Avienne, whose vocal range spans from haunting melodies to fierce growls, VINTERSEA delivers heavy, emotionally powerful and technically intriguing music that is undeniably inspired by the majesty of their surroundings.

The forthcoming effort was once again engineered by Gabe Johnston (Devin Townsend, Underoath, Moonsorrow), and this time mixed by the team of Carson Slovak and Grant McFarland (Rivers of Nihil, Lorna Shore, Black Crown Initiate) with mastering duties handled by Troy Glessner (Unto Others, Silver Talon). and features cover art from Ne Obliviscaris' Xenoyr.

‘Woven Into Ashes’ will release May 5th on CD and Digital, just in time for VINTERSEA's dates opening for Moonspell, Eleine and Oceans of Slumber, with a 2LP limited edition of 500 ‘gilded rain splatter’ vinyl coming this summer. All available to preorder now at our webstore or HERE from a variety of other digital and physical sites.
