Vile Aesthetic will release "To Bloom and Flourish from Utter Rot" on Oct. 29th!

Founded in 2018 by guitarist and vocalist Colter Niendorf, Vile Aesthetic is a black metal act cultivated from the Colorado wilderness. The band welcomed full time bassist Christian Kee in the latter half of 2018, and spent the following years touring regionally in the United States (Denver, Durango, and the Rocky Mountains). With inspiration drawn from the raw, aggressive origins of the genre and an appreciation for the contemporary, the duo have carved their sound into something new, powerful, and hauntingly intense. In 2020, while the world shuttered in plague, Vile Aesthetic began production of their debut studio album with the anticipation of a 2021 release. With the aid of session drumming by Evan Barton and the phenomenal engineering talent of Pete deBoer of World Famous Studios (Blood Incantation, Dreadnought), the analog sound of “To Bloom and Flourish from Utter Rot” is nothing short of exceptionally fierce. As the world reopens to some semblance of normality, Vile Aesthetic’s vision for the future is bright and the excitement to resume live performance is fast approaching.
