Hot on the heels of their latest release "Anthem Of Terror", international metal trio VEIL OF THE SERPENT return with an even more ambitious single: "Black Sun". Out now on all major streaming platforms, the track is a sprawling and visceral journey into cosmic darkness, blending the band's trademark heaviness with an almost cinematic sense of scale and atmosphere.
Drummer Felix, who also penned the lyrics, shares insight into the new track:
"Basically, Black Sun is about a space crew reluctantly drawn toward a black hole, resisting its gravitational pull and refusing to surrender even as the void consumes everything around them. But at the same time, it's also a metaphor for strength - about confronting the unknown, drifting beyond the edge of everything familiar, and refusing to let the darkness consume you. Even when life drags us into the deepest shadows, we can still ignite the fire within and keep burning."
With "Black Sun", VEIL OF THE SERPENT push their signature blend of heaviness, emotion and storytelling even further. Where "Anthem Of Terror" raged like a storm, "Black Sun" gravitates with immense force. An epic sonic void that threatens to consume, yet ultimately radiates defiance and hope.
