Athens, Greece — Greek heavy metal band VALOR have officially released their new single "Wings of Steel" on all major digital streaming platforms today, March 20, 2026. The track is the first single from their forthcoming concept album "Ark of Time", scheduled for release on May 15, 2026. Alongside the streaming release, the band also premiered the official music video on March 11, 2026, now available on YouTube:
"Wings of Steel" is a pivotal chapter in the "Ark of Time" saga — a cinematic, sci-fi heavy metal track that blends powerful riffs, atmospheric keyboards, and dramatic storytelling. The song follows a doomed exploration mission launched from aboard a colossal interstellar vessel carrying the last survivors of humanity. What begins as a courageous leap of faith quickly descends into tragedy, as the mission fails under mysterious forces and is subsequently used by the ruling regime to tighten its grip on those left behind.
The track captures the full emotional arc of the story: the excitement of discovery, the terror of catastrophe, and the cold machinery of authoritarian control — all driven by the classic heavy metal sound that VALOR have made their own over two decades.
