Prog metal outfit Distance of Thought has officially signed a worldwide deal with Astral Haven Records. To celebrate this landmark partnership, the band has released a brand-new 2026 video version of their iconic track, “When I See You Fall”, giving fans a taste of their modernized sonic landscape.

Known for blending powerful melodies, intricate musicianship, and cinematic storytelling, the Houston, Texas-based group continues to carve out a distinct space in the progressive metal world. Drawing inspiration from legendary acts like Dream Theater, Fates Warning, and Savatage, Distance of Thought masterfully bridges technical prowess with deep emotional impact. Founded by guitarist Dale Rasco, vocalist Drew Brown, and keyboardist Jeff Quiggle, the band is highly regarded for bridging top-tier technical proficiency with grand, cinematic storytelling.

Revisiting “When I See You Fall” serves as both a celebration of the band’s roots and a showcase of their evolving production standards.

Speaking on the decision to return to this staple track, the band shares:
