Buffalo metalcore quintet Until I Wake are back and set to release their new album Renovate on December 6 via Fearless Records. To kick off the new album cycle, the band has shared a video for the title track.
"The title track is a transition from darkness to light," the band says. "It's about finally seeing the chance to achieve the peace of mind and happiness life has to offer beyond all of the pain — a chance to rebuild and reshape the person we want to become and leave all of the past behind us."
"'Renovate' is a transformation of sight for oneself, a different light; more positivity and self love. Leaving behind the person you were for the version you want to become. Letting go of the fear, doubts, self hate and reshaping a perspective surrounded by courage, self love and mental/spiritual growth.”
The band have also released the singles “Hole Hearted,” and “The Reverence.”
Until I Wake have leveled up every element of their sound, and are re-invigorated by the addition of new singer Justin Smith. Pummeling verses collide with soaring, arena-ready choruses, all of which are backed with percussion so immediate it could replace your own heartbeat and a relentless barrage of neck snapping riffs — the kind that hard rock fans can't get enough of.
Until I Wake burst onto the scene when they released a self-titled EP in 2021. Early praise was swift and streams numbered in the tens of millions worldwide. Press accolades from Outburn, Kerrang!, and Alternative Press followed.
The band's Fearless Records' debut Inside My Head amassed millions of streams to date.
They've appeared at major rock festivals including Louder Than Life, Upheaval, and So What and will open for Attila on the About That Life 10-Year Anniversary Tour this fall, in addition to appearing at Blue Ridge Rock Festival, Download, Welcome to Rockville, and more.
