Diverse thrash metallers DeathAssault are poised to unleash their genre-expanding sound, fusing aggressive riffs with towering, atmospheric soundscapes. The band will release their self-titled debut album, DEATHASSAULT, on Friday, 13th February. Ahead of the album drop, DeathAssault have delivered their explosive new single and video, We Will Remain. Formed in 2022 in Plymouth, DeathAssault are comprised of Darrell Baker (vocals), Bill Mander (guitar), Jake Ackrell (guitar), Wiktor Osiecki (bass), and Levi Spry (drums). Together, the quintet channel a broad spectrum of influences into a sonic assault that thrives on chaos, emotion, and unpredictability. Known for their erratic, energy-fuelled live performances, DeathAssault have quickly earned a reputation as one of the most visceral and exciting acts to emerge from the UK metal underground.

Drawing inspiration from the likes of Sepultura, Lamb of God, Slayer, and Slipknot, DeathAssault’s sound blends the precision and fury of thrash with atmosphere and depth. The result is a relentless and emotionally charged experience that cuts through the noise of modern metal.

Since their formation, the band have shared stages with Escuela Grind, RXPTRS, Vampires Everywhere, and Tortured Demon, and have torn up venues across the South West. Their debut EP, released in 2023, marked a pivotal milestone—cementing their presence in the UK scene and setting the stage for the arrival of their defining full-length.

The upcoming album, DEATHASSAULT, pushes the boundaries even further, capturing the unrestrained energy of their live shows while delivering a message that is both powerful and personal. “This album isn't just a collection of songs. It's a statement.” says frontman Darrell Baker. “This is who we are—raw and real. It’s a musical interpretation of our souls, minds, and beliefs. We want people to think—about the world, about themselves, and about what they’ve done in life. This is DeathAssault.”

With their self-titled debut, DeathAssault are poised to make their most explosive impact yet, bringing their unrelenting sound to new audiences and solidifying their position as one of the UK’s most formidable new metal acts.
