TYPHUS FIRE OFF SECOND WITCHER-INSPIRED SINGLE!

Greek heavy-metal force Typhus are doubling down on their new era with “Only Ashes Remain,” the second single from their forthcoming album, set to hit all major streaming platforms on 2 May 2025. Steeped in the dark fantasy of The Witcher saga, the track melds towering traditional-metal riffs, sweeping orchestral passages, and Typhus’s trademark intensity—offering the clearest glimpse yet of the band’s evolving soundscape.

Formed in 2009 (originally Nuclear Terror), Typhus forged a reputation for thrash-speed ferocity on 2014’s Contaminated Salvation EP and their 2020 debut full-length Mass Produced Perfection (Punishment 18 Records). After igniting anticipation earlier this year with their first new-album single, the Athens quartet now raise the stakes further:
