TWIST LOCK Release Anguish Fueled Offering "Get Bent"

TWIST LOCK unleash an unapologetically hostile atmosphere in the punishing new single "Get Bent". With a sound rooted in beatdown hardcore, "Get Bent" provides an unyielding assault of commanding breakdowns. The debut EP, Surplus Citizen, is due to release on June 12, 2026.
On "Get Bent", the band comment: "This one’s about that feeling of getting screwed out of your future. Growing up thinking you had a shot at something, then realizing everything’s controlled by corporations and billionaires who don’t give a shit. It’s about being stuck working just to survive while they keep stacking everything in their favor. Definitely one of the more personal tracks, just straight frustration."
A sense of foreboding emerges from the slow-tempo opening of "Get Bent". The brutality builds leading into an intense groove-driven attack ignited by the anger of fake promises and the loss of future possibilities.
