TROM to release their lost album "Liber Mud"
It was 1999 when TROM recorded "Liber Mud", the never released full-lenght, just few months before the band definitively split-up. Active since 1992, Trom was an Hardcore/Dark Metal act from Zurich, Switzerland. Integrating occult and obscure elements into Hardcore, Dark and Death Rock, throughout the years TROM gained an unique sound which draw the attention of the dutch Black/Death Metal cult label Shivadarshana (Impiety, Order From Chaos, Mordor, Mortuary Drape), resulting in a live album release in 1996. During the years of activity, as stated by the vocalist Fabrice, the band toured all over Europe playing around 300 live shows.
With this last record, the Mystic-Core act went full into a thick sound and an aggressive style, resulting in an hardcore-driven, progressive riff-based obscure metal record becoming more and more neurotic, dark and mystic by every track. Although mainly hardcore, the evocative and trance-alike trademark of TROM is not lost at all: tracks such as "Soif" and "Salvatore" are capable of goosebumps. As "Liber Mud" starts, doesn't finish Lyrics, as have always been within TROM discography, features english and french language flirting with hebrew, deustch, latin and italian, furthermore adding egyptian and sanskrit mantras found within Crowley works.
