TRENCH WARFARE To Unleash "Achtung! Destroy The Weak"
War metal bastards TRENCH WARFARE will unleash hell in the form of their venomous new album, Achtung! Destroy The Weak.
The eight tracks comprising Achtung! Destroy The Weak highlight a much heavier and aggressive sound informed by classic death metal titans like MORBID ANGEL and DISMEMBER, while their appreciation for bands as varied as DEIPHAGO, DIOCLETIAN, GENOCIDE SHRINES, TETRAGRAMMACIDE, WARGRINDER, RITUAL GENOCIDE, OBEISANCE and SATANIK GOAT RITUAL continues to shine.
This new level of aggression is evident with the album's first single, "Dissenter."
"I like to leave some things open to interpretation lyrically, yet a lot of it is quite direct," comments vocalist Jay H Gorania about the song. "'Dissenter' is about a ruling element atop a hierarchy that has essentially been overthrown. That ruling class is the group of dissenters of the new social order and, as it's presented in the first person, they're gearing themselves for a return to power to claim the sacred throne for (their) pure and royal blood."
