Cult New York City metallers TOWER, in collaboration with Metal Injection, have premiered the official video for "Under The Chapel," the first single from forthcoming album, Let There Be Dark! Check it out above.

Cruz Del Sur Music will release Let There Be Dark March 21 in Europe and April 11 in North America. The album will be available on CD, vinyl LP, and digital formats.

Hot off the heels of an intensive touring schedule since the release of 2021’s Shock To The System, TOWER pulled off the road and hit the studio with acclaimed producer and engineer Arthur Rizk (BLOOD INCANTATION, CAVALERA, KING DIAMOND) from October to December 2024 to record Let There Be Dark.

According to the band, Let There Be Dark was influenced by the current foreboding state of the world and it shows—its first single, “Under The Chapel,” is a haunting lullaby that cascades into a nightmarish dreamscape.

“The song’s lyrics and melody were inspired by a Yiddish lullaby my grandmother would sing to me as a child,” says frontwoman Sarabeth Linden. “It always felt extremely haunting. It was really cool to use that as inspiration and also pay homage to my grandmother and my heritage.”

The 7-inch Under The Chapel vinyl (also featuring the song “Iron Clad”) and music video will be released on February 21, just in time for TOWER’s return to the stage in select cities in Europe. The band will be bashing out the single’s two tracks and older favorites during the run.

Four years have passed since the release of Shock To The System. For the members of TOWER, their growth could not be more evident on
