THORIUM return with “Suburban Rot”, the devastating new single and title track from their upcoming album “Surburban Rot”, set for release later in 2026 via Emanzipation Productions. Over the years, the group has honed a style that blends classic death metal brutality with a solid groove and a heartfelt musical intention, without paying any attention to what might be the current trend in the scene.
"I think that in this second wave of our assault, releasing "Suburban Rot", in my book, Jose succeeded in writing another Thorium evergreen that surely will be in our live set-list, if not for eternity, then for a very long time", guitarist JP comments about the song. "Although the song is driven by an aggressive punk feel - like in "Epidemic Skeleton", which is also a classic live-set banger - Jose also adds some soulful leads that deliver the melancholic poetry to the portrait of the rotten suburbs, and hereby perfectly redeems MHA's musical intention with the song".
