Theogonia Records proudly presents “Sombrero Attack”, the second single and official video from Greek guitar virtuoso Gus Drax, taken from his upcoming instrumental solo album Theories of Imperfection, due out April 3rd, 2026.
“Sombrero Attack” is a blistering, high-energy instrumental track that highlights Gus Drax at his most explosive. Driven by aggressive riffing, relentless shred, and razor-sharp precision, the song delivers a no-holds-barred display of modern metal guitar mastery, further cementing Drax’s reputation as one of the genre’s most formidable players.
The accompanying performance-focused video was filmed at MBS Studio in Athens, Greece, capturing the raw intensity and physical power behind the track. The video was directed and produced by Bob Katsionis (Progressive Vision Group) and Alexander Haritakis, with stage lighting by Nick Kodizas and photography by Tasos Anestis.
