A whole new world of inventive, insidious and infectious metalcore awaits in 2026, with Melbourne's The Gloom In The Corner -- Mikey Arthur (vocals), Jesse Abdurazak (guitar), Paul Musolino (bass) and Joshua Clinch (drums) -- today announcing their third full-length album Royal Discordance, due out on Friday 27 February via SharpTone Records.

Wielding 12 songs set to scintillate the senses and lure you deeper than ever into The Gloom In The Corner's universe of cinema-core, today's announcement of Royal Discordance is also heralded by a new single Angel's Wrath Whiskey; a theatrical barn-burner that opens with breakneck beats, swirling synths and a flurry of guitars, ultimately building into an anthemic chorus while also advancing the band's ever-expanding conceptual universe."Angel's Wrath Whiskey lives up to its namesake," the band shares of their new single. "The first four shots are great, but too much of it will have you breaking down as hard as the end of the song."
