TechDeath metallers ‘VICTIMS OF CONTAGION’ to release new album ‘EGREGORE’

Technical death metal band VICTIMS OF CONTAGION are set to release new album ‘EGREGORE.” The album pushes the band’s blend of intricate, high-speed neoclassical arrangements and progressive structures to new levels. Elements of old-school death metal violently collide with polyrhythmic compositions to create a new blueprint for the band’s dynamic style.

VICTIMS OF CONTAGION, based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, were formed in 2007. After spending years on the underground touring circuit while releasing a string of independent demos, the band released their debut EP “Parasitic Unborn,” in 2014 and followed it up with their debut full-length “Lamentations of the Flesh Bound,” in 2019.

‘EGREGORE,’ is composed of high-energy extremity with hyper-accelerated tempos and blackened tremolo passages that seamlessly fuse with majestic atmospheres and crushing grooves. Every note was written, played and recorded with painstaking attention to detail, each passing second delving further into the darkness within.
