Summon The Severed continues the storyline, as a follow up to the full length Starkiller, which takes the music and the message to a far darker place. Seeking to redeem himself and to free himself and other's from the tyranny of the whims of the gods, The Traveller has gone to the lengths of finding a way to kill the gods of the world and then hatches a plan to ressurect their corpses to terramorph the planet. Musically, each song is full of quick, fast paced riffing, thick chugging, groovy base, nd both blastbeats and drum fills. The synth and piano parts are less prominent on this album than in the past, intentionally, to show the protagonist's view point changing to a more aggressive, almost comically maniacal worldview.
