Swedish thrash/speed metal band TYRANEX finally arrives in Brazil for a unique performance at the Black September Festival. The band performs on Sunday, September 7th, alongside names like Nervochaos, The Mist, Power Trip, Candlemass and Triptykon plays Celtic Frost. Tickets are available through the Clube do Ingresso website.
About the debut show in the country, the band comments:
"The desire to play in Brazil has always existed because one of the band members is Brazilian and because we know that a good portion of our listeners are Brazilian. The expectation is very high, it is the first time that the band will play outside Europe".
In the repertoire, TYRANEX prepared a special surprise for Brazilian fans, mixing the classics of their career with songs from the acclaimed fourth album 'Reasons For The Slaughter', which is an intense thrash and speed metal attack, released by GMR Music Group. The album is available on all digital platforms and in vinyl, CD and cassette formats for die-hard fans.
In addition to the exclusive show, the band will also hold an autograph signing at The Metal Bar on Tuesday, September 9. The event marks a unique moment to meet the band, take pictures, get autographs and purchase exclusive gifts.
"Brazilian fans write and comment a lot on our social media. It will be a pleasure to meet you in person this time!", says the band.
The band has been drawing attention for having in its formation the Brazilian Will Tomao on guitar and for working with Brazilians, such as the Motim Underground team, which does the editing of the videos.
TYRANEX also worked with conductor Alexey Kurkdjian who composed the first track of the album called "Overture", and which was recorded by two musicians from the São Paulo State Symphony Orchestra.
'Reasons For The Slaughter' can best be described as an intense thrash and speed metal attack, exactly as it should be and hits harder than you think and then manages to hit even harder than that. The production quality is exactly how old school thrash metal should sound in 2023 and rightly so, as it was produced by Lawrence Mackrory (Katatonia, Bloodbath, Decapitated, Vomitory, etc.).
