Set for Release on October 16th, These Essential Pieces of Swedish Metal History Feature First-Time Vinyl Pressings and a Nostalgic Look Back at the Band’s Blistering Legacy.
Prepare for sonic devastation. Thrash/death metal veterans CARNAL FORGE have officially announced the highly anticipated vinyl reissues of two of their most ferocious and influential albums: 2000’s ‘Firedemon’ and 2001’s ‘Please... Die!’ Officially licensed from Century Media Records. Both albums are scheduled to blast their way onto turntable platters worldwide on October 16th.
For the first time ever, the unrelenting, hyper-speed chaos of ‘Please... Die!’ will be available on vinyl, giving audiophiles and die-hard fans the chance to experience the landmark album with the warm, crushing dynamics it deserves.
Formed in 1997, CARNAL FORGE quickly established themselves as one of the most intense forces in the Swedish metal scene, seamlessly blending the melodic sensibilities of Gothenburg death metal with the frantic, technical precision of thrash.
Firedemon: Originally released in 2000, this sophomore album solidified the band’s reputation for breakneck tempos and razor-sharp riffing. A pure, relentless onslaught of catchy, pummeling violence and terror that defined the band's viciousness and set new standards for the genre. Available on Pure Torture Red Vinyl, limited to 300 copies and including expanded insert with personal liner notes.
Please... Die! (Celebrating its 25th Anniversary): Released just a year later in 2001, this album took the band's savagery to new heights. A brilliant and mean-spirited masterpiece filled with razor-sharp riffing and blazing leads. Tracks like "Hand of Doom" and "Welcome to Your Doomsday" proved that Carnal Forge could out-thrash almost anyone in the game. Available on Funeral Blue Colored Vinyl, limited to 300 copies and including expanded insert with personal liner notes. First time on vinyl.
These reissues serve as a testament to the band's enduring influence on the early 2000s metal landscape—an era where they helped redefine how fast and aggressive Swedish metal could get.
“We are so exited that these albums will be available once again. It brings back so many fun memories for all of us that were in the band during these years, and we know that Lars (1970-2025 rip) would have loved this,” exclaims guitarist Jari Kuusisto. “We were young, ambitious and loved being together making music, drinking beer, touring and just being crazy metal heads. We really hope that you will appreciate, as much as we do, that these albums will once again be made available. We really want to thank Marco Barbieri and M-theory Audio for making this possible. We also want to thank our fans (past and present) and everyone else that helped us out in any way during these years. Until next time. Stay brutal, stay metal and blast Carnal Forge as loud as possible. Horns up. We salute you!!!”
While CARNAL FORGE’s classic lineup left an indelible mark on metal history, their creative fury continues to branch out with member resumes including significant groups like Scar Symmetry, In Thy Dreams, World Below, Steel Attack, Dellamorte, Rosicrucian, Slapdash and Centinex. Singer Jonas Kjellgren has even engineered or mastered top names like Sabaton, Hypocrisy, Immortal and Overkill
Meanwhile, legendary founding guitarist Jari Kuusisto, whose iconic, frantic fretwork defined the chaotic energy of both ‘Firedemon’ and ‘Please... Die!’, continues to violently rage and can currently be found laying down heavy riffs with Swedish death metal powerhouse FARSOTH, who are currently laying down their third barrage of intensity.
