Swedish progressive metallers THREE DEAD FINGERS stream their “For The Next Species Pt.1” EP in its entirety!
Three Dead Fingers was formed in 2015 by Lead-Singer/Guitarist Oliwer Bergman and Bass Player Gustav Jakobsson, starting out as two 10-11 year olds determined to craft heavy music. Only 2 years later, they had their first big breakthrough, after winning the national finals of the Swedish music competition "Livekarusellen". By that time, Lead-Guitarist Remý "Fiskis" Strandberg and former Drummer Alexander Lindgren had joined the band. Since then, they have performed at big festivals such as Sweden Rock and Skogsröjet, toured Europe twice, and released two full-length albums - "Breed of the Devil" (2019) and "All Worlds Apart" (2021). Both albums were well-received and praised by sites like Metal Injection and Metal Centre. Although Three Dead Fingers have their roots in the Thrash/Death Metal scene, they have always been inspired by a broad range of metal genres, including Progressive Metal and Nu Metal. Their inspiration from Progressive Rock & Metal bands has had a particularly big impact on the upcoming Double-EP "For the Next Species", where influences from bands like Tool, Opeth and Mastodon can be heard. The new record also features their current drummer Henry Bergman Paul. It will be released continuously during 2024, sending listeners on a dynamic journey, where they will encounter everything from heavy breakdowns to complex and melodic guitar parts. With this new release under their wings, the Swedish Space-Cowboys are primed to take their sound to greater height. Whether on stage or in the studio, Three Dead Fingers are ready to redefine the future of metal.
