SUPREME MYSTIC Releases Explosive First Single “Supreme Mystic” From Forthcoming Album Kala Rupa!

Today, Detroit heavy music force Supreme Mystic has released their first official single, “Supreme Mystic”, a thunderous and spiritually charged anthem that introduces the band’s forthcoming debut album Kala Rupa, due out October 3 via MahaVishnu Records in partnership with Third House Communications.
This self-titled track arrives with a compelling visualizer, setting the tone for what the band has coined Mo-Metal and DefRoc: a bold hybrid of heavy stoner rock, post-hardcore grit, spiritual mysticism, and raw Detroit power. “Supreme Mystic” is a rallying cry, a sonic invocation, and a mission statement all in one.
With punishing riffs, pulsating rhythms, soaring keyboard textures, and lyrics drawn from Vedic teachings, “Supreme Mystic” is both confrontational and transcendent. The track culminates in the ancient Sanskrit mantra Mrityur Mrityum Namo Mayaham, paying homage to the band’s deep connection to Eastern philosophy and the teachings of Krishna Consciousness.
The single marks a new chapter for Couls, stepping forward not just as a bassist, but as a full-fledged frontman, songwriter, and voice of purpose. The band’s lineup features Jeff Shankin (UNIVERSAL STOMP, EARTHMOVER) on drums, Alfredo Riojas on lead guitar, and Luis Ulloa on keyboards, completing a powerhouse unit known for dynamic live performances and philosophical depth.
