STUDIO GRANDIOSE Announces EP 'The Tapestry Waters'
The Tapestry Waters is the new EP from STUDIO GRANDIOSE. The metal based project draws upon dark ambient synths and orchestral elements to produce a haunting and ethereal sound. "The Tapestry Waters is about exploring waters on an otherworldly plant; speculation of what life and events could exist. The base idea was an improvisation with an ambient synth. I decided to use a cosmos concept because the synth emitted that feeling. Around it, I wanted to create environments reminiscent of the place. Granular synthesis fascinated me, and it was an experiment and focus on this release. I used it to transform sounds and generate 'particles' or 'matter' in a way. The synth was also modified this way, and granular tools and reverb brought about a new layer sonically.
