Stress re-releases exclusive version of "Brasil Heavy Metal", theme of the documentary, in new remastering!
Stress has just re-released a new remastered version of "Brasil Heavy Metal", a song composed by the band especially for the documentary of the same name. The highlight of this edition is the fact that the remastering corresponds to the version recorded only by Stress, without the participation of the other vocalists present in the special version released for the film.
The song gains new attention with the recent availability of Brasil Heavy Metal for free on YouTube. Directed by Ricardo "Micka" Michaelis, the documentary brings together testimonies from important names in the scene and rescues stories from the early years of Brazilian Heavy Metal.
Among the protagonists is precisely Stress, which recalls the trajectory started in Belém do Pará and the difficulties of making Heavy Metal away from the main centers of the country. The band also tells in the film episodes related to the trip to Rio de Janeiro to record their first album, at a time when equipment, information and professional structure were very limited.
Released in 1982, Stress went down in history as the first Heavy Metal album recorded in Brazil. Years later, the band composed "Brasil Heavy Metal" especially for the documentary, creating a song that came to represent the connection between Stress and audiovisual production dedicated to the history of the genre in the country.
Now, the exclusive version of Stress receives a new remastering treatment. The re-release puts back in evidence the band's original recording for the project, allowing you to listen to "Brasil Heavy Metal" with the full focus on Stress.
