Seattle's Jack and the Dull Boy are a prog-metal band and they're set to release their refreshingly retro debut album, 'Failure In Three Parts' on November 19th. Today the band is sharing, "Video Drugs," the final single from the album and boy, is it a doozy! Sonically, the track is a nod to the guitar (and synth) heroes of the 80s but lyrically, we have a biting commentary on late night doom-scrolling, internet hoaxes, and misinformation. The band says the track refers to "dopamine addiction normalized as technology use is the ultimate vector for malignant propaganda." You can listen below!
