Spanish heavy metal outfit 1945 will bring their Heavy Metal is Not for Sale tour to Ireland and the UK this December, with stops in Dublin, London, and Edinburgh. The tour serves as the finale for the band’s campaign behind their debut album and marks their first-ever performance in Ireland and their third visit to the United Kingdom.
Formed in 2016 by five seasoned musicians from bands such as K-OS and Evil Rise, 1945 has established themselves as purveyors of true heavy metal, combining strength, speed, and a mix of eclectic styles. Their debut album, Heavy Metal is Not for Sale (2022), received strong praise from critics and fans alike, with its 11 tracks of unrelenting metal earning global distribution through Steel-on-Steel Distro across Europe, Latin America, the USA, and Japan.
The December tour is not only a celebration of their debut but also a prelude to what’s next for the band. 1945 is currently preparing their second studio album, scheduled for release in 2025, and gearing up for appearances at several international festivals.
