Dredge the Lethe return with their third full-length album, "Blood Metal" — written, recorded and shaped entirely on their own terms. Based in South Africa, the band doesn’t aim to follow trends or chase approval. Blood Metal is exactly what the name suggests: an album carved out with everything they had left to give.

Musically, the record pulls in from a lot of places: black metal, Swedish melodic death, thrash, even the avant-garde. It’s messy in the best way — sharp, emotional, sometimes chaotic — but always grounded in their deep connection to the genre.

“Blood Metal is a love letter to everything we love about metal. We’ve poured every last shred of our hearts, souls and blood into this album. It’s a crowning achievement for us as musicians, and a milestone in this long, weird journey of ours. We just want to keep making music for as long as we’re alive.”
