Greek Black/Thrash Metal outfit brings Edgar Allan Poe's gothic tale of decay, madness and doom to life, with artwork by Anthony Galatis
Athens-based Black/Thrash Metal band SONS OF HADES has unveiled an animated lyric video for "The Fall of the House of Usher," taken from the band's debut full-length album "Tombs of the Blind Dead," released in 2025 via Floga Records.
Inspired by Edgar Allan Poe's classic gothic tale of decay, madness, bloodlines and doom, the video translates the story's crumbling, fatalistic atmosphere into stark animated imagery — a fitting match for a band built on old-school Black Metal darkness and Heavy Metal grandeur.
The visuals were brought to life by artist Anthony Galatis, whose work can be followed via Facebook, Instagram, Linktree and his portfolio.
