Sons of Hades release "Tombs of the Blind Dead"

SONS OF HADES was formed in 2023 by guitarist and vocalist Apostolis K. (Demolition Train, Winter Eternal, Chainsaw, Nightbreed). The idea was simple: take the spirit of old-school black metal and classic heavy metal and push it into something raw, direct and alive.

The band draws on the dark riffing and twisted melodies of Mercyful Fate and King Diamond, the early chaos of Bathory and Venom, the weight of Celtic Frost and Death, and the bleak atmosphere of Mayhem, Immortal, Emperor, Satyricon and other black metal staples.

Not long after the project started, Vasilis K. (guitars, Demolition Train) and Alex G. (bass, Nightbreed) joined, locking in the first SONS OF HADES line-up. By 2024, the songs for the debut full-length were written, pulling together different metal strands into a single, hostile record: black metal at its core, heavy metal in its bones, dark, morbid and sharply defined.

Drummer Vangelis F. (Sacral Rage, Necrovorous, Chainsaw, ex-Embrace of Thorns, ex-Resurgency, ex-Winter Eternal) completed the line-up. In 2025, SONS OF HADES recorded, mixed and mastered their first album, “Tombs of the Blind Dead”. The album is OUT NOW via Floga Records.
