Signs of Tranquility Rise from the Darkness with New Single “The Rise” — Out October 2!

The Rise is the third track from Signs of Tranquility’s forthcoming EP, The Consequences. Recorded by Nick Nodurft at Rusty Sun Audio and mixed and mastered by Jack Kosto at Kosto Audio, the single pairs the band’s dark, reflective melodic metal sound with a deeply personal message of courage and survival.

The song grew from vocalist Azura Onessa’s personal experience with depression, anxiety, addiction and toxic relationships, and the realization that destructive circumstances can become familiar enough to feel safe even while they slowly take everything away. It confronts the painful reality of leaving behind the only life you have known and watching that world fall apart as you begin building something better.

The Rise does not present change as easy or immediate. It acknowledges the falls, heartbreak and fear that accompany transformation while reminding listeners that there is always a way out. Be brave, be fearless, and if you fall from the rope, dust yourself off and keep climbing.
