Fully composed by Ash (also founder of the 90's neofolk cult project Neutral), "Across the Vultures Trail" displays a very harmonic and detailed symphonic tone, sweeping in scope and majestic in sound, constantly evolving in enchanting and epic ways throughout the whole record length. The pathos created by such multi-layered arrangements is the heart of Sickle Of Dust's music, wired by mid-tempo rhythms, emotional riffs, acoustic sections and almost narrative scream vocals.
