SEMPER ACERBUS (melodic metalcore) battle addiction in new "One Day at A Time" lyric video & single!

American Melodic Metalcore band Semper Acerbus is back and they bring us to the brink of poison and pain like exotic plague doctors bursting from the shadows and forging a path for us into the light! The band just dropped a heartfelt new single and lyric video entitled "One Day at A Time" which talks about addiction and recovery. The lyric video was directed by Marc Coronado and it is the second single & music video taken from their upcoming full-length album Following Omens which will be released on January 9, 2026 via Eclipse Records. The album was produced by Chris Mora (Upon a Burning Body, Kingdom Collapse, Chimaira) at Warhorse Recordings (San Antonio, TX).

"We had plans to do a very intricate concept video because of the great lyrical content and message but we had to change those plans” says lead vocalist Nelson Acerbus. “Sometimes things just don’t go as planned and with this video, that was the case. We were able to call in Marc Coronado once again who came to our rescue saving the day with an amazing lyric video which perfectly captures the message and meaning behind the song, and we’re thrilled everything turned out this way!”
