Cambrian is a Progressive Metal band from Eindhoven. Cambrian writes original compositions that stand out for their dynamics and diversity. They love to challenge you, the listener, and experience various emotions.

This can be heard on their debut album ‘Point of Origin’, released in 2017 via self-release.

The band's origins lie with the more death metal-oriented band Grave Machine, led by Cristian and Ronald. Later, Freek, Lennart, and other members who are no longer in the band joined, resulting in Cambrian.

We can therefore call 2013 the band's start. In the beginning, the style was somewhat more straightforward, and they started by playing covers of bands such as Dream Theatre.

However, it didn't take long before they started writing their own music.

With songs written for the new concept album, Cambrian is fully ready to perform all of this live.

It was an idea that had been brewing for some time, as that is naturally a common phenomenon in progressive music. Eventually, a concept emerged based on a book Ronald wrote in 2023.

Due to lineup changes and the coronavirus, the album took a while to materialize. However, over those years, the style has matured and reflects a clearer vision, whereas the band was initially still searching for a sound. But since the end of May 2026, the new album is a reality, and it was released independently once again.
