Savage Beat have been active since 2016, flying the flag for what they call “street boogie”. It is a loud blend of late ’70s punk rock, high-energy rock ’n’ roll and Oi influences, built for big riffs and choruses that stick.

That sound drives their new full-length Bright Lights, Tall Shadows, out March 6, 2026. Across ten tracks, the band keep the pace up, but the themes shift. Some songs are pure rock ’n’ roll fuel, like “Cut To The Chase” and “Three Chord Disciple”. Others go darker and more inward on “Killer Inside” and the title track. “Worse For Wear” and “Tomorrow (Might Never Come)” take a harder look at day-to-day life and a world that feels stuck. The album opens with the instrumental “Street Boogie Confidential”, which the band describe as a nod to the rebellious history of their hometown.

Two singles will drop ahead of release day: “The Side Hustle” on January 30 and “Unhinged” on February 19. A music video for “Unhinged” is expected around February 19, with the option of an exclusive premiere for interested outlets. The album was recorded at Studio Mono in Amsterdam during 2024/2025, produced and mixed by Steven van der Werff, and mastered by Dan Randall at Mammoth Sound.

"The Side Hustle" is the first single from their upcoming album and it's now available for streaming on all digital platforms: https://open.spotify.com/intl-pt/album/2NNlquSAxRD5bXOISzAg4J?si=9MAYEVyySryNOFWV_Jm60Q
