Rohtang is a new project of one-man Black Metal war machine Skoll, known from HellGoat, Slaughtercoffin, Wan and Misotheismus. Spawned in January 2021 in Eskilstuna, Sweden and carrying more atmosphere and a slower tempo than his other projects, in Rohtang Skoll creates hymns dedicated to the great void and death itself.
After the recent split LP and EP release of HellGoat and the debut full length LP of Slaughtercoffin, during the wait for the new Wan record Skoll it’s not like Skoll to sit at home and spend leisure time. And so the master strikes again, delivering a mesmerizing and hyptotic sound concept while at the same time preserving the sheer hatred and misery that his earlier works are radiating. Let darkness embrace you and Rohtang be the soundtrack to your personal spiritual demise.
