With only one week to go before the release of their new album, Rivers Ablaze unveil “A Mass Grave of Trauma”, the second single taken from Inexternal Dread, out March 27th, 2026 via Inertial Music.
Once again, Rivers Ablaze move freely through black metal, death metal and doom-infused passages, guided by non-canonical structures and a sense of progression rooted in mood rather than display. The vocal delivery shifts between restraint and abrasion, carrying a worn, almost grunge-like edge that amplifies the record’s noir undertone.
“A Mass Grave of Trauma” does not seek catharsis.
Together with “Silent Orbit”, the new single offers a clearer view into Inexternal Dread — a record that reveals itself through patience, repetition and immersion, rewarding listeners willing to stay inside its spaces rather than rush through them.
