Reject The Sickness: 15 years of unbridled aggression.

Since 2010, Belgian metal band Reject The Sickness has been storming the scene with a furious mix of rhythmic death metal, ruthless melodic aggression and atmospheric black, supplemented with a touch of metalcore.

Their music is more than just sound—it’s a journey through the dark realities of marginalized youth. They explore themes of abuse, neglect, and self-harm, bringing these raw emotions to life in their lyrics.

Although their lyrics are fictional, they carry the weight of real experiences.

Singer Guy, a social worker in addition to being a frontman, weaves his observations and insights into the lyrics, giving them an extra layer of intensity and authenticity.

2025 will be a significant year as Reject The Sickness celebrates 15 years of power and expression. To commemorate this, they will release their new album, ‘Signs of the End,’ worldwide on May 30th. This album sees them pushing their limits, refining their style, and exploring more of the human experience.

Their lyrics focus on the mental struggles of neglected youth, expressing feelings of fear, hatred, and a desire for revenge. However, adult revenge is shown to be an illusion that traps them in their thoughts. Musically, the band evolves with rhythm, atmosphere, and catchiness, even incorporating elements of atmospheric black metal. In 2025, they will also pursue complete label independence, believing they can manage it better themselves.
