With the “alias” Slaytanic Speedball Possessor, he is the author of all the composition, lyrics and guitar solos in Raging Slayer. He already brings a history in extreme music, with perhaps the greatest references: guitarist in the punk crust band “Sem Talento” and the main brain of the massive projects like: Death Crust - “Animalesco, o Método” and Death Metal - “Rancid Amputation”.
Now is time to discharge all his anger with Thrash Metal tunes.
RAGING SLAYER was born from the idea of paying unashamed homage, without filters, without masks to the old school Slayer scene. Like a punch in your face to revive the Slayer era from 83 to 88.
During the process, the idea came up of having a vocal that would fit like a thunder in the songs and who better to capture the vibe and the timbre à la Araya? Lex Thunder (Toxikull, ex-Midnight Priest), who did a superb job on vocals, giving the dimension and impact that these infernal riffs needed.
The bar was raised, but it was all set ablaze with the incomparable production level of Paulão, who is also a member of one of the biggest portuguese Thrash bomb, Perpetrator!! Believe me, the man knows his stuff and the result is an album that's a massive old school thrash blast!
Everything is bold, the artwork, the band name, the logo, the composition, the vocals and the production, nothing has been neglected, everything was thought out to deliver to the listener an experience with the chemistry and magic that influenced millions, the retro 80s era of Slayer!
