Portuguese heavy metal newcomers Ladon Heads are set to release their debut album “Steel for Fire” on October 17 via Lost Realm Records. Drawing on the legacy of Omen, Manilla Road and Cirith Ungol, the band delivers a raw, uncompromising sound steeped in traditional metal spirit.
The band has just unveiled their new single “Birth by Hellfire”, following the earlier release of “Born in Steel”.
Formed in 2022, Ladon Heads quickly caught the attention of underground purists with two demo tracks that hinted at bigger things to come. With “Steel for Fire”, the band takes a huge step forward: seven brand-new songs filled with heavy riffs, epic melodies, and fiery atmospheres, plus their original 2023 demos — “Master of Sorcery” and “Blood Soaked Field” — newly remastered and officially released for the first time.
This album is heavy metal straight from the heart: classic in spirit, vital in execution. It speaks to die-hard fans of the old ways while offering new listeners the kind of authenticity and power that only true believers can deliver. Produced by Lex Thunder, “Steel for Fire” is both a tribute to the legends and a battle cry for the future.
“Steel for Fire” will be released in digital, CD and LP.
