Portuguese goth metal powerhouse HEAVENWOOD signs to Mighty Music!

Portuguese gothic metal pioneers HEAVENWOOD have signed a recording deal with Mighty Music for the release of their upcoming studio album. The seminal band has joined the Scandinavian label for the worldwide release of their next full-length, "The Tarot Of The Boheminans - Part II", scheduled to be released later this year, with the exact date to be announced.

Ricardo Dias dos Santos, founding member, guitarist and vocalist of Heavenwood, comments:

The upcoming album has been mixed and mastered by Niko HK Krauss (The Old Dead Tree, Sirenia, Mercyless), further reinforcing the sonic ambition and international scope of this new chapter in the band’s long and influential career.

Formed in 1992, Heavenwood are widely regarded as one of the most important and pioneering names in Portuguese gothic and dark metal. With a solid international reputation built over more than three decades, the band have released several critically acclaimed albums, performed at major festivals such as Wacken Open Air, and shared stages with key acts of the global metal scene, establishing a lasting legacy defined by atmosphere, melancholy and artistic depth.
