Barcelona atmospheric black metal band Perennial Isolation have released “Crimson Iconoclasm”, the first single taken from their forthcoming album, The Vermilion Farewell, due for release this fall.

The track features guest vocals by P.G. of Groza, as well as narration by Jan Insomnic.

“Crimson Iconoclasm” introduces the next stage of the band’s work, combining atmospheric passages, melodic guitar lines and the more aggressive elements that have characterised Perennial Isolation’s sound throughout their career.

Formed in Barcelona in 2012, Perennial Isolation have released four full-length albums to date: Conviction of Voidness (2014), Astral Dream (2015), Epiphanies of the Orphaned Light (2016) and Portraits (2021).

The band have toured across Europe and performed alongside acts including Harakiri for the Sky, Enisum, Nocturnal Depression, Glorior Belli and Kampfar.

Further details about The Vermilion Farewell will be announced in the coming months.
