(lim.bo) Edge, rim, fringe. Anatomical structure outlining an organ. The visible border of an eclipsed celestial body. A place where the righteous awaited the coming of Jesus. A state of uncertainty or indecision. Booby Trap’s album.
On their sixth original album, Portuguese band Booby Trap decide to switch gears after more than 30 years, embracing their mother tongue exclusively for the first time. Their usual journeys through human everyday life and social justice now turn down a more personal path, drawn from close experiences, from those who owe nothing to anyone.
Judgment day draws near, there is no regret, no return. The road leads to the cliff edge, an apocalyptic ending ever closer.
All that remains is to celebrate life, intense as ever, sharper than ever—and embark on this journey to the end of days.
Produced by Paulo Vieira, L(i)mbo will be available on CD and LP from December 1st via Firecum Records.
The first single "Um Dia de Cada Vez" is already available: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PAhbnoq2H2U
