OUT NOW! SUPREME ACT OF WAR release new album "Divisions of the Night"

Supreme Act of War have released their new album Divisions of the Night today, January 9, 2026. It is a self-released extreme metal record built around war history, modern conflict and political flashpoints, with lyrics touching on military campaigns, the Hong Kong protests, government COVID responses and the role of mainstream media.


The project is driven by Peter Wolvesblood, who handles guitars, vocals and bass, with Todd Hansen on session drums. Guests also appear across the record, including Yong Ho (SAHON, Korea) on vocals (“Geobukseon”); Jason Cotton (DESCENDENCY, USA) on vocals (“Kinmen Bombardment”); Ef Six (DESCENDENCY, USA) on guitar (“Day of Triumph”); Takahashi Harima (TASTE, Japan); and Marko Vukovic on bass on track 11.


The tracklist also includes a cover of Rush’s “Tom Sawyer” plus “Thunderbolt Razorback”, written as a tribute to Bolt Thrower. Drums were recorded at Neon Studios in Australia, with guitars, vocals and bass recorded at The Wolves Den in Oakville, Canada, and additional recording at Attlesey Studio in Ajax. The album was produced by Peter Wolvesblood and mixed and mastered by Colin Attlesey.
